Do I need to be fit to start kickboxing?

I’ve never done kickboxing before - can I still join?

Absolutely! Our Foundation Level Class is perfect for beginners with no prior experience. We’ll teach you the fundamentals in a supportive and structured environment, helping you build confidence and skills from your very first session.

Will I have to spar in class?

No! Sparring is completely optional and only introduced in our Intermediate/Advanced classes for those who feel ready and want to participate. Beginners can focus on learning techniques, improving fitness, and building confidence without any pressure to spar.

What should I wear and bring to my first class?

Wear comfortable workout clothes, like a t-shirt and leggings or shorts, and bring a bottle of water. If you continue with classes, we’ll guide you on the equipment you’ll need, such as gloves or wraps, but none of that is required for your first session.

Is kickboxing a good way to relieve stress?
